About Overit Norway

Last updated: August 21, 2026

Overit Norway gathers what the Norwegian public registers already say about a business onto one page, free to look up.

What we do

Data about Norwegian businesses is public but scattered: the registration in one place, the annual accounts in another, the roles in a third. We take it from the sources, assemble one profile per entity, and make the whole thing searchable by name, organisation number and address.

We publish no sample data and fill in no figures we do not have. Where something is missing, the page says it is missing.

Where the data comes from

  • Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities — registration, legal form, activity code, address, roles.
  • Register of Business Enterprises — commercial undertakings.
  • Register of Company Accounts — filed annual accounts and which years documents exist for.
  • VAT Register — whether the entity is VAT-registered, as the entity register states it.

All four are kept by Brønnøysundregistrene and made available under the Norsk lisens for offentlige data (NLOD 2.0). We credit the Brønnøysund Register Centre as the licence requires. The licence does not cover personal data without an independent legal basis; what we publish about people, and why, is set out in the privacy policy.
